(Sharps waste generally falls under biohazardous waste.) - Pharmaceutical waste ready for disposal may not be stored onsite for more than 90 days.
3How is biohazardous waste treated and disposed?
Regulated medical waste can either be incinerated or disposed via auto-clave at licensed and permitted treatment facilities.
